Q: What does a typical day look like?
While every day of the retreat is designed to be unique, a typical day flows with a natural rhythm that balances structured practices and restorative downtime. While each day unfolds organically, the retreat follows a gentle rhythm designed to balance reflection, connection, rest, and shared leadership. Mornings typically begin slowly with time for personal reflection, journaling, meditation, or quiet walks. After breakfast, we often gather in circle to open the day together through dialogue, guided reflection, or experiential practices. Late mornings and afternoons may include small group discussions, leadership explorations, participatory exercises, or time for integration. Because this retreat honors co-creation, participants are sometimes invited to share insights, perspectives, or practices from their own experience. Midday includes a shared meal and time for rest, beach walks, swimming, journaling, or informal connection with fellow participants. Evenings often bring the group back together for deeper reflection, storytelling, ceremony or meaningful conversation. Some evenings may include contemplative practices, creative expression, or time around the shared space simply being together. Just as important as the structured moments are the unstructured ones, the spontaneous conversations, quiet insights, and supportive connections that emerge naturally when people gather with intention. The rhythm of the retreat is intentionally spacious. While there will be guiding themes and sessions, there is also room for rest, integration, and the natural unfolding of the group’s collective experience.
Q: What type of activities are offered?
Your retreat experience includes a wide range of practices such as yoga and meditation, somatic workshops, healing ceremonies, sacred rituals, breathwork journeys, ocean ceremony & saltwater release, beach excursions, and nature walks. Each activity is designed to create balance, renewal, and transformation.
Q: Do I need to be a leader to attend the Warriors of the Light Retreat?
Leadership at Warriors of the Light is not defined by titles, roles, or professional experience. In this retreat, leadership is expressed through presence, self awareness, humility, and a willingness to take responsibility for one’s own energy within a shared group container. Participants are not expected to arrive as experts. Rather, we gather as peers who are willing to engage thoughtfully, listen deeply, and contribute to the collective field of learning and reflection. Because this retreat is participatory and relational, we ask all interested participants to complete a short application. The application helps ensure alignment with the retreat’s values of shared responsibility, ethical presence, and respectful community.
Q: Why is an application required prior to acceptance to this retreat?
The Warriors of the Light Retreat is a deeply immersive, relational experience guided by a clear code of ethics. To maintain the integrity of the container and the well-being of all participants, an application is required prior to acceptance and registration. This process allows us to discern alignment, emotional readiness, and the capacity to engage responsibly within a shared group field. The application is not a measure of worth or spiritual ability, but a necessary step to ensure that this experience remains grounded, respectful, and supportive for everyone involved. The Warriors of the Light Retreat is immersive and relational in nature. Participants are asked to engage with: - personal reflection - emotional and spiritual responsibility - community care An application allows us to ensure that this experience is: - supportive for you - supportive for the group - aligned with the purpose of the retreat Completing an application does not mean you must be “ready”, “healed", or “experienced". It simply means you are: - willing to show up honestly - open to self-reflection - respectful of a shared sacred container If, for any reason, we feel the timing is not ideal, we will communicate with care and clarity.

Q: What is the payment policy?
To reserve a space in the retreat, participants must first complete the application process and receive confirmation of acceptance. Once accepted, participants will receive a registration link to complete payment. Participants may either pay in full or choose the available payment plan option. Payment plans allow participants to spread the cost across several scheduled payments, with the final balance due 60 days prior to the retreat start date. Because retreat accommodations are limited and we make contractual commitments with the venue, securing your space confirms your intention to participate.
Q: Is there an early bird discount?
Yes, we encourage guests to take advantage of our early bird discounts, which provide considerable savings for those who book in advance. We also offer flexible payment options to make the retreat as accessible as possible.
Q: What is the cancellation policy?
Due to contractual commitments with the retreat venue and the limited number of participant spaces, all retreat payments are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, your reservation may be transferred to another participant, subject to approval by the retreat organizers. For this reason, all participants are required to obtain travel insurance that includes coverage for trip cancellation or interruption. Travel insurance can help protect you financially in the event of illness, travel disruption, or other unforeseen circumstances that prevent you from attending.
Q: Will participants be asked to share or lead something during the retreat?
Yes. One of the unique aspects of the Warriors of the Light retreat is that it is co- created by the participants. Guests are invited to offer a 60 – 90 minute experience during the retreat that reflects something meaningful to them. This could be a conversation, creative expression, movement, healing modality, music, reflection, or another way of holding space. Once applications are received, we gently weave these offerings into the flow of the retreat. In this way, the intentions and gifts of the participants help shape the field we gather within. You are not simply attending, you are helping co-create the experience.
