Welcome to Warriors of the Light Leadership Retreats (the “Retreat”) and our website at wotlih.com (the “Site”), operated by Inner Haven Spiritual & Creative Development Center DBA Warriors of The Light (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Site, any members-only areas, and any services offered through the Site (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Site and register for the Retreat. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Informational Purposes Only (No Medical or Legal Advice)

Content on this Site is for general informational and promotional purposes only. It does not constitute medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

You are solely responsible for:

  • Consulting with your healthcare provider before participating in the Retreat.

  • Determining whether the Retreat and any related activities are appropriate for your physical and mental health.

3. Retreat Applications, Bookings & Payments

3.1 Application process
Some retreats may require an application. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to approve or decline applications at our sole discretion.

3.2 Payment & pricing
If your application is accepted, you may be invited to complete your reservation and make payment via our secure payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Wix Payments, or others). Prices, payment schedules, deposit amounts, and deadlines will be described on the Site and/or in your booking confirmation.

3.3 Deposits & payment plans
Deposits and payment plans may be offered as described on the Site. By choosing a particular plan, you agree to pay all amounts due according to the schedule shown.

3.4 Cancellations & refunds
Our cancellation and refund policy will be provided on the Site or in your booking documents. Please read it carefully before making payment. Where no specific policy is stated, all payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

3.5 Travel & third-party services
You are responsible for arranging and paying for your own travel, visas, insurance, and any third-party services (including flights and additional excursions not expressly included in your retreat package).

4. User Accounts & Members Area

4.1 Registration
Certain areas of the Site may require you to create an account or become a member. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information.

  • Keep your login details secure.

  • Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

4.2 Access control
We reserve the right to approve or deny membership, and to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion, including where we suspect misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.

4.3 Members-only content
Any content, documents, payment information, or additional retreat details available in members-only areas are intended solely for approved participants. You may not share your login credentials or grant others access to your account.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

  • Harass, threaten, or harm others.

  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, other accounts, or our systems.

  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or data-mine the Site except as expressly permitted by us.

We may monitor use of the Site and remove any content, or restrict access, that we believe violates these Terms or applicable law.

6. Intellectual Property

The Site and all content, including text, images, graphics, logos, videos, and design elements (collectively, the “Content”), are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inner Haven Spiritual & Creative Development Center DBA Warriors of The Light, its owners, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or

  • Any loss of profits, data, or goodwill,

arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site, the Retreat, or these Terms.

In no event will our total liability to you exceed the amount you have paid us for the Retreat or Services giving rise to the claim (if any) during the twelve (12) months preceding the event.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Inner Haven Spiritual & Creative Development Center DBA Warriors of The Light and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the Site or Services

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your violation of any rights of another person or entity

11. Changes to the Site and Terms

We may update the Site, modify or discontinue features, and revise these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates when changes were made.

 

Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Illinois, U.S.A. without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Grayslake, Illinois, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
